    Exceptional

I really enjoyed the layout of the rooms and having a dining room, kitchen and big, comfortable bed. Loved seeing movies as I don't have the movie channel at home. Appreciated the map of directions I recvd at time of booking and walked up from the train station directly to the hotel and went for a walk at night. Next day I returned to station and walked on to birthday party at Mandarin Restaurant on Wellington so it all worked out very well.

What didn't I like = not very fond of the elevator as felt it might break down while I was on it, so took the stairs as often as I could. I am a senior so don't enjoy climbing stairs unless absolutely necessary.

This was a reasonably priced hotel and within walking distance of all the sites we planned to visit in London. The staff were very friendly and happy to answer our questions. I really liked having a kitchen supplied with dishes and utensils. As an added note, the furnishings included an adjustable office chair. Overall, we found the hotel clean, comfortable and conveniently located.

The coffee machine was a bit tricky to use, and coffee and filters were not provided - visitors should be sure to bring these items with them. Additional hangers would be nice.

Only a single window unit AC is available in the living room. No AC in the bedrooms. The sole AC unit didn't work well and left a massive puddle on the rug underneath. Decor is ugly, holes in the wall, and lighting is bad.

Accomadation adequate but a little tired. It was great having two bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Resonable price.

    Location to down town

Very rowdy, there was fighting at 4:00 am, children were frightened. Hotel is very dated, needs a make over.

This hotel is right in the middle of downtown London. Close to shopping, pubs and restaurants. It has free heated undergroung parking, which was amazing for our trip as it was -10C to -20C the whole time we were in London. The Booked.net rate got us a small studio apartment for $63/night by far the cheapest rate downtown. Would stay again.

They seem to use a very strong airfreshener, the hallways are thick with it, I found the smell very unappealing. You can't turn down/up the heat. Our room was very warm, uncomfortably so, and I could not find the thermostat. When I called the front desk they informed me that the heat was controlled and set at one temperature for the entire hotel. They told me to open a window, they were frozen shut. I tried to turn on the air conditioner, but alas, it was bordered up for the winter. Also, they advertise that they have 3 free movie channels (all of the ''M'' channels), none of them worked. But honestly, a downtown hotel for $63, I wasn't too upset by any of these things.

    Fabulous

I like the location and the budjet.

I didn't like the fact that blankets had cigarette burns. I found that to be very dirty. Yes it was a smoking room which is what was requested, but I didn't request cigarette burned sheets and blankets.

    Good

The full kitchen was what made us stay there and the hotel was pet friendly for our foster dog. The beds were comfortable and there was an extra large closet.

Where to begin!. Everything was very tired: curtain hem was falling down, bathroom fixtures were all scratched making them appear dirty, the first facecloth I went to use was still stained with someone's makeup even though it had been laundered, walls had been patched but not painted in the bathroom, door skin was broken, main door was very tight and had to be pushed hard to open or close, one burner on stove didn't work and there was only the bare minimum of equipment, the fridge had huge scratches on the door, the microwave turntable didn't turn, the closet door was coming off its hinges, no remote for the TV. I could go on but I guess you get what you pay for.

The staff did their best to help us with a multitude of problems.

    1) Could not lock our door without "training". 2) Our non-smoking room smelled of stale old smoke until the 4th night - when we found discovered a large hole behind the vanity that had completely separated from the bathroom wall bore a surprise. Smoke from the room below us literally filled our bathroom. We stopped up the hole as best we could with towels (The staff moved the all night partying smokers the next night). The room quality was very low. I will never stay at this hotel again. The ONLY reason we stayed was the location - just a few blocks from downtown and my father-in-law's apartment. 3) On the first night we heard a woman down the hall screaming at someone. As previously stated, there were all -night partiers to contend with on the fourth night. The only positive was the staff - I hope they all get future employment in better conditions.
